Roam Seminars
Roam The Woods has presented seminar programs with REI and the Womens Outdoor Network. Roam also has an on going relationship as guest instructors for the Becoming an Outdoor Woman program with the following state agencies; Alabama Department of Natural Resourses, Florida DNR, and Maryland DNR. Roam The Woods guides are actively working with the Trail Dames hiking community, to help prepare and inspire women in all walks of life. Seminar Series

Leave No Trace:
Roam The Woods holds our outdoor spaces with a level of repect, since as guides we spend more time in these outdoors spaces then most. Roam teaches Leave No Trace awareness seminars on all Roam Courses, as well as, when on location we are always willing to share Leave No Trace ethics and principles to willing participants.
Trip Preparation:
Leave No Trace Ethics and basic trip planning.
This discussion will provide all the tools neccessary for a hike, bike, or backpacking trip.
Gear Choices:
Everything thing thats goes in your backpack and more will be discussed. We will help give advice on getting those packs weights low.
Food & Hygiene:
We will discuss caloric intake, as well as eating like a king in the woods. Personal hygiene will be covered for both males and females.
*Thru-Hike and Section hike Seminars will be hosted sometime in December or January to help future A.T. hikers get the low down on their epic journey.
